I’ve been trying to wrap my mind around the fact that TODAY I celebrate 10 years living in Peru!!! I’ve been reflecting on this picture at the airport with my parents, saying see ya later, with a lot of excitement but also a lot of unknowns. The only known fact was that God was with me and would guide me…..
I feel like there is so much to say.. So much to share of what I have learned over the past 10 years, so much to even update you all on the past 4 months since my last entry, yet the most important thing right now I can express is GRATITUDE.
I am thankful for every single person who has cheered me on from the very beginning of this journey, supported me (and now my family) financially, encouraged me, and pushed me to dig deeper in understanding what God had planned for me (us). Most of all, I thank God for the life He has designed for me. Often, I sit in awe to see the marvelous work He has done in me personally and the outpouring He has allowed me to give to others because of Him. I am grateful.
I have gone back to my old notes of what I shared in churches when I was being sent off 10 years ago….The same vision that God put in my heart then…HE has made much of it come true…and has given me an abundance of blessings along the way. What an honor and privilege to be the ones to be chosen to do such work. I am grateful.
Many have asked….what next? Our plan is to continue the work that has been started. But always open to what the Lord has for our future… Either way, our answer is still the same as it was 10 years ago…Our future is full of a lot of excitement and a lot of unknowns , and we know that God is with us, and will guide us.
Thank you for celebrating this milestone with me. God is good and faithful always.
